OGLE COUNTY — The Ogle County Waste Medicine Disposal Program is a cooperative effort between local law enforcement agencies and the Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department to provide local, convenient drop-off sites for unwanted, unused or expired medicine.
The program is open to Ogle County residents who may drop off medications at any of these police departments during business hours: Byron, Forreston, Mount Morris, Oregon, Polo and Rochelle.
In addition, the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department has a drop box outside of the County Correctional Center (jail) next to the Ogle County Courthouse, which is available 24 hours per day, every day.
