ROCHELLE — Twelve males from the Rochelle Township High School junior and senior classes will be taking the stage to see who is Mr. Hub 2013.
The second annual Mr. Hub competition will take the stage of the RTHS auditorium on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the high school and are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Mr. Hub is a fundraiser for Student council and the money will go towards local service organizations.
Mr. Hub Contestants will be judged on a group dance, talent presentation and runway walk. Judging the pageant are teachers Nick Reineck, Jodi Hill and Kyle Kissack. The top four Mr. Hub finalists will partake in a question and answer session to help the judges make their final decision.
“To be completely normal and serious for one day; though I think it would be really, really weird,” contestant Danny Woodall said when asked one thing really out of character he would like to try. Woodall will sing to his ever-present ukulele during the talent portion before he is escorted down the runway by Solana Contreras.
