Sophomore Hubs keep it close despite losing to Barbs 67-56 at home

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Township High School sophomore boys basketball team put on a show and kept it close for two quarters despite losing 67-56 in front of home crowd Saturday afternoon.

Rochelle trailed by one point after the first quarter (16-15) but the Barbs turned up the pressure in the second quarter and finished the first half up 31-21.

Mitchell McGreggor did what he could to keep Rochelle in the game, scoring 23 points. Andy Hayenga added eight in the defeat.
