Chamber teams up with business to create new women’s network

ROCHELLE — Rochelle businesswomen will now have an opportunity to network and talk to peers about issues in the business world.

Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce & Business Development is teaming up with Manpower to create the Rochelle Women’s Network.

Rochelle Women’s Network will hold its first meeting on Monday, Feb. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Abraham’s VIP room. Cost to attend is $15 and includes lunch.

Laurie Guest, CSP, will present a lively presentation on five actions a businesswoman must take to move and lead through the buying cycle.

During the luncheon women will have an opportunity to use their newly acquired business skills during a round of speed networking. Speed networking will allow attendees the chance to meet and connect with many businesswomen in a fast-paced and fun business building session.
