"Straight from the Heart"

Wayne Myroth gave an hour of afternoon on Thursday to donate blood at Rochelle United Methodist Church. Myroth said he donated blood because it is something he started doing years ago when his wife needed a blood donation and he hasn't stopped.

Rock River Valley Blood Center will be at Rochelle United Methodist Church, 709 4th Ave., January 31 until 6:30 p.m.

During the blood drive people are also able to sign up for "Be the Match" the national marrow donor registry.
