Lady Hubs pick up 16th win in Morris

MORRIS — The start was slow but the wait well worth it for the Lady Hubs as they picked up their 16th win of the season, defeating Morris 44-26 on Thursday.

The Lady Redskins started in a sagging 2-3 zone in an attempt to keep Rochelle out of the paint as much as possible.

Feeling pressure to take perimeter shots, the Lady Hubs took longer to warm up than usual, only scoring nine points but holding Morris to seven.

Once its offense got rolling, there was little stopping Rochelle as the team started knocking down shots jumping out to a 22-13 halftime lead.
