PRINCETON — Rochelle head wrestling coach Rich Harvey said a win over Princeton on Thursday would be very important to the Hubs as they prepared for individual regionals next Saturday.
Rochelle had no problem picking up the victory. In fact, the Hubs nearly shut Princeton out, defeating them 70-6. There were seven victories and six pins for Rochelle with Jake Meyers, Jeff Board, Wes Meadows, Justin Rickmond, Tyler Vogeler and Will Lawhorn were all winners on Thursday to lead the Hubs to one of its most impressive victories of the season. Princeton had to forfeit five weight classes to the Hubs which added to Rochelle’s 70-6 victory.
