Dan Westin, RMU’s new business and finance analyst, updated the board on industry trends to watch, including the flux of peak energy within residential homes and keeping facilities in check to satisfy the increase in demand for energy.

At the same time, the peak demand has gone up about three percent every year,” Westin said. “We’re not the only ones seeing this. It’s an industry trend that the peak demand of energy has increased. What we need to be aware of and work with that we have the capacity to have it. We need a plant that can work with those peak demands.”
