Junior Hubs pick up first loss of season

ROCHELLE — The eighth grade traveling Junior Hubs basketball team lost a tough 47-43 contest against the East Aurora Tomcats Saturday. 

Rochelle battled back from a 13-point deficit at the end of the third quarter to tie the game at 41-41, courtesy of a Matt Albers three-point play. However, Rochelle committed a couple of turnovers that stopped the momentum and sealed the victory for the Tomcats.

The Junior Hubs struggled  from the field, shooting 27 percent for the game and only 7-16 form the charity stripe.
