Guest speaker to share financial problems and solutions for state

ROCHELLE—Locals interested in learning more about the state’s budget crisis are invited to attend a free event on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. in the RTHS auditorium.

Accountability group speaker Dr. Ralph Martire will present a fact-based presentation on why the State of Illinois is in financial trouble and ways to get it back on track. The program will be approximately an hour long and will feature a “Q and A” forum afterwards.

This presentation is told across Illinois and will now be presented in Ogle County, courtesy of the Rochelle League of Women’s Voters group.
