Lady Hub bowlers defeat Kaneland at T-Byrd Lanes

KANELAND — The Lady Hubs lost to Kaneland in game one, but the Rochelle Township High School varsity girls bowling team won the next two games to top Kaneland 8-2 in front of a home crowd at T-Byrd Lanes.

Emily Tyner and Briana Mickley led Rochelle in series and individual scoring.

Tyner’s 168-pin game three helped her achieve the only 500-pin series with 508 total. Mickley’s high game came in game two where she bowled 189 pins. Her 189 pins not only led the Lady Hubs on Tueday but the Lady Knights as well.
