ROCHELLE — This Thursday, Jan. 24, at 7p.m., executive director for the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability group, Dr. Ralph Martire, will educate and enlighten locals on Illinois’ poor and ever deteriorating financial state.
Martire intends to use his knowledge from years of experience with the non-profit organization to present a non-biased and fact-filled program that will shed light on how the state’s economy degraded and how residents can take charge and save the state from further financial ruin. Martire will present in the Rochelle Township High School auditorium.
The event will be free of charge to anyone wishing to attend, thanks to the campaigning of Rochelle’s League of Women Voters group and generosity of Rochelle Township High School officials for hosting the event. The program will be approximately an hour long and will feature a “Q and A” forum for locals afterwards.
