Dukes break NIB-12 record in 10-0 win over Rochelle

DIXON — The Hubs bowled well Thursday in Dixon, but when their opponent broke the NIB-12 high series record, there wasn’t much the Rochelle could do.

“We bowled really good tonight,” Rochelle head coach Doug Koch said Thursday night after the meet. “But Dixon had an awesome afternoon of bowling with a 4,014 high series.”

The conference record comes quite timely for the Dukes who, like the Hubs, will be fighting to stay alive next Saturday at the sectional bowling tournament next Saturday, Jan. 19.
