DEKALB — The Rochelle eighth-grade traveling basketball team got off to a good start over weekend, defeating the Geneva Bucs on Saturday 65 -33 in Rochelle and the DeKalb Panthers in DeKalb on Sunday 57-29.
Rochelle is now 2-0 overall and in the Fox Valley Travel Conference.
Big victory
On Saturday, the Hubs used a 21-3 first quarter advantage to coast to victory. The whole team contributed to the win both offensively and defensively.
