ROCHELLE — Today’s kids know everything about everything, but how much do they know about using money wisely? Cassidy Gillihan, a Sterling high school student, knows a lot.

Gillihan recently entered a contest sponsored by First National Bank of Rochelle by creating and submitting a short video titled “$weet Dreams; The Money Sisters.” Gillihan won a Kindle Fire from First National for her winning contest entry. Her video has been sent on to the ABA Education Foundation to compete in the “Lights, Camera, Save!” contest on a national level.

“Cassidy’s entry for ‘Lights, Camera, Save!’ is wonderful,” commented Valerie Fair, bank officer.
