Hubs struggle in Kaneland but excel at Rochelle quad

KANELAND — The Rochelle Township High School varsity wrestling team was back in action last week dropping a loss on Thursday against Kaneland, but coming back and picking up two team victories Saturday in the Rochelle Quadrangular.

Despite losing 43-15 to Kaneland, Rochelle head coach Rich Harvey thought the Hubs wrestled well against a senior-heavy opponent.

Jacob Meyers picked up the win for Rochelle at the 106-pound weight class. He defeated Adam Mish 13-8. Kaneland forfeited the 182 and 195-pound weight classes to Brad Hensley and Tyler Vogeler, respectively.
