ROCHELLE — A Dixon woman has filed a discrimination charge with the National Labor Relations Board against a Rochelle industry. Karen Cox, a current employee at Americold Logistics, is claiming her rights were violated when attempting to lobby against a union at her workplace.
According to representatives from the National Right to Work Foundation, Cox reportedly began a campaign to remove the union from her workplace. Cox claims in the lawsuit that she was denied the same access that was granted to union organizers, prevented from passing out anti-union information to other employees and was not allow to circulate a petition against the union.
