RPD investigate hit and run

ROCHELLE — Rochelle police continue to investigate a hit and run incident which took place Saturday night.

According to reports, a vehicle struck the Rochelle Rehabilitation Center, 900 North 3rd Street, at approximately 10 p.m.

No one suffered any injuries inside the building.

Reports indicate that a white van or sedan struck the Rochelle Rehabilitation Center along with a parked car and then drove away from the area. The building is owned by Petersen Healthcare in Peoria.

Police say there was extensive damage inside the building. The Rochelle Fire Department was called to the scene to inspect the structure for damage.
