Hintzsche agriculture scholarship applications due Feb. 18th

ROCHELLE — Do you have a high school senior who is planning on pursuing a career in the field of agriculture? If you do, be sure to check out www.hintzsche.com to access an overview and application for the Hintzsche Scholarship for Agriculture.

The Hintzsche Companies will be presenting $1,000 scholarships for up to eight qualified seniors of high schools in the Hintzsche and Burroughs’ trade areas, and applications are due by Feb. 18, 2013.

Agriculture today is far more complex and requires more advanced technical skills than the previous generations needed in order to succeed. The industry must maintain a steady source of trained and qualified personnel in order to provide adequate succession for the job vacancies of the future.
