National Transportation and Safety Board officials, along with Federal Aviation Administration officials, continue to investigate the cause of Monday night's tragic REACT helicopter crash, which occurred approximately 12 miles south of Rochelle near the intersection of IL Route 251 and IL Route 30 and took the life of three crew members on board.
Rockford Health System officials stated in a press conference this morning that the last dispatch transmission from the flight crew prior to the crash was that they were "heading into some weather."
