Club holiday meeting

• 11:30 a.m. — The GFWC Rochelle Woman’s Club will meet at the Via Club Room (next to the First National Bank) for lunch and a Christmas party. Please bring a “white elephant” gift, stamped Christmas cards for the veterans, and toiletries for Winning Wheels’ residents. Guests and visitors are always welcome.



County democrats meeting

• 7 p.m. — The Ogle County Democrats will meet for a holiday meeting and dinner at the Sunrise Restaurant, 101 West 2nd Street, Byron. The only agenda items are celebrating our victories in November, enjoying the holiday season and preparing for the winter break until our next meeting in February 2013.
