Individual success in Hubs loss to DeKalb

ROCHELLE — Rochelle Township High School head wrestling coach Rich Harvey knew his Hubs would have its hands full when DeKalb came to town, so it was a pleasant surprise when three Hubs posted wins Thursday evening, despite the team losing 58-15 to the Barbs.

Jeff Board’s match was a close one at 113 pounds. He wrestled DeKalb’s Brenden McGee until the very end of regulation, scoring on take downs, reversals and escapes as he hung on to a 13-12 lead that was good enough to give him his second win in two days.
