ROCHELLE — Bessie Troutman, 80, of Rochelle, passed away Nov. 28, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Bessie was born Feb. 28, 1932 in DeKalb, the daughter of Rade and Danica Hrnyak. She married Robert Troutman on March 20, 1954 in DeKalb.

She is survived by her children, Mike Troutman of Downers Grove, Pam (Tim) Lake of Stillman Valley, and Doug Troutman of Mount Carroll; grandchildren, Jacob Lake and Josh Lake of Stillman Valley; siblings, Mary Holtz of Carpentersville, Stella Pettigrew of Vallejo, Ca.; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and two siblings, Minne Edwards and Mike Hrnyak.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 704 north Sixth Street, Rochelle, with a one hour visitation prior. Pastor Farrell Stauffer will officiate. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
