ROCHELLE — Local store clerks were kept busy all day Wednesday as local residents got in n the action in hopes of winning the $587 million Powerball Lottery.
Abbie Ellis, an employee at Rochelle Pharmacy, said the store has sold hundreds of dollars of Powerball tickets.
“Leading up to the drawing Wednesday night Rochelle Pharmacy has more than doubled the stores normal lottery sales,” she added.
