ROCHELLE — To provide an enhanced personal learning experience to its students, Sylvan Learning of Sycamore announced the launch of a new satellite location in Rochelle which will enable Rochelle area families more convenient access to Sylvan’s services.
Kunz said Sylvan decided to partner with the library and offer a Rochelle location because parents were asking when they would come to town and wanted a closer location to further students’ education.
Learning sessions at the library are an hour long and start at 4:30 and 5:30 every Monday and Wednesday beginning Monday November 12.
The Flagg Rochelle Public Library location will use Sylvan’s digital learning system called SylvanSync™. Specifically designed for today’s Digital students, SylvanSync™ is a dynamic approach to learning that combines Sylvan’s proven method of individualized instruction through a personal learning plan with a new set of integrated teaching and learning technologies. The system is designed to bring the student, Sylvan teacher and family “in sync’ in a new, more complete learning environment.
