ROCHELLE — On Saturday, Rochelle’s Golden K Kiwanis Club hosted an all-you-can-eat chili dinner throughout the day, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rochelle United Methodist Church. The “Chili Day” was held to raise funds to fuel the club’s many volunteer efforts within the community, as well as to provide a hearty meal to local families.
The Golden K members cooked the dinner and 10 Key Club members from Rochelle Township High School also worked the event and sold homemade treats. A 50/50 raffle was held and families from the community attended for the food and company.
