Hubs open up season defeating Streator

ROCHELLE — If its first meet was in any way a precursor for the rest of the season, the Rochelle Township High School varsity boys bowling team is in good shape following a victory over the Streator Bulldogs Tuesday evening.

Alex Demoff led the Hubs with a 653-pin series, but it took a solid team performance to defeat the Bulldogs 3,381-3,102 on Tuesday with four of Rochelle’s top five bowlers surpassing the 200-pin mark in at least one of their games.
