NIU Jazz Ensemble in concert

DEKALB — The nationally renowned Northern Illinois University Jazz Ensemble under the direction of professor Ron Carter, will be in concert with special guest artist, drummer Dennis Mackrel Thursday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. in the Duke Ellington Ballroom in the Holmes Student Center on the campus of NIU. New School of Music faculty member, saxophonist Geof Bradfield will join the band. The concert is free to all and promises to be a night of great music.
