New Rochelle strip center plans set

ROCHELLE — New retail business is expected to come to Rochelle as ground was broken Wednesday for a multi-tenant strip center, Lighthouse Pointe, that will be built at 1221-1223 Caron Road, near Walmart.

“The city of Rochelle is very fortunate, the city is growing through a recession. Not many communities are breaking ground in November and December,” Peggy Friday, executive director/CEO of the Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce said.
