Area schools honoring veterans with programs

ROCHELLE — Schools in Rochelle and throughout the area will be celebrating Veteran’s Day in many different ways. Many schools have invited veterans and community members to attend special events.

Events

• Rochelle Middle School will have a Veterans ceremony Monday morning around the flagpole with members of the VWF.

• Central Elementary School is having an assembly on Friday at 2 p.m. with a Veteran from the VFW and the students will sing songs they have learned in music class.
