Former Byron star set to play pro basketball overseas

BYRON — Bryant Voiles patiently sat by his telephone Friday night, and although he did not receive the phone call he was hoping for, finding out that he would be playing professional basketball overseas wasn’t the worst news he could have received.

“This is a change of plans more than being bad news really,” said an optimistic Voiles Friday night. “I mean, I still get to play basketball, and to me, that is what is important.”
