Huftalin finishes first cross-country season at UW-Plattville improved

PLATTEVILLE — For the last four years, Frank Huftalin was a name synonymous to Rochelle Township High School cross-country and track and field.

This fall, however, Huftalin worked on establishing himself at University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he recently finished his first season running for the Pioneers.

“I really enjoyed running cross-country at the collegiate level,” Huftalin told the News-Leader from Platteville. “I had my expectations, and I must say, the experience was definitely different than what I had expected.”
