ROCHELLE—Throughout the month of November, the Rotary Interact Club will collect colorful cardboard at Rochelle Township High School for the “Three Angels” charity foundation in Haiti.
The charity drive, which was initiated by the Monfils family, will collect cardboard that will be delivered to Haiti and used by Haitian artisans to assemble jewelry by reworking donated cereal, cracker, food product and chipboard boxes. The proceeds from the jewelry sales are used to support needy Haitian families and orphans and also provide the financial means for families to stay together.
