Council approves insurance plan bid

ROCHELLE — In a 7-0 vote, the Rochelle City Council approved an insurance plan and provider during a special meeting held Monday afternoon.

This is the first time in approximately 5 years the city sent the insurance coverage plan out for bids. The city reviewed three proposals for consideration.

The approved plan submitted by Query Insurance Agency does not have significant changes to the policy.
