When Matt McMahon went away to Texas A & M University for his freshman year last fall, maybe he had a copy of “Oh, the Places You’ll Go,” by Dr. Seuss.
McMahon, a Rochelle Township High School graduate and an environmental geosciences major, was accepted into a two-month internship offered by Texas A & M. In Belize, studying the lionfish population, he followed up the internship with another month in a study abroad program in that central American country.
