Lady Hubs finish fourth in Dixon tournament

DIXON — On Saturday, the Rochelle Township High School varsity volleyball team finished fourth overall at the Dixon Varsity Tournament.

In pool play, the Lady Hubs lost to Sterling, 20-15, 20-18, but beat both Dixon, 20-18, 20-18, and Amboy, 20-14, 20-12.

LaSalle-Peru defeated Rochelle 20-12, 20-10 in the semifinals putting the Lady Hubs against Rock Falls for third place.

Rock Falls defeated the Lady Hubs, 20-12, 20-15. The Lady Hubs are 14-16-1 on the season.
