ROCHELLE — In order to pay tribute to Rochelle’s vibrant Hispanic community, the Flagg Township Historical Museum will hold a Hispanic Heritage exhibition that will overlap with Hispanic Heritage Month.

The exhibit titled “Weaving the Intercultural Connection: Hispanic Heritage in Rochelle” will kick-off with an opening reception on Friday, Oct. 12 from 5 to 8 p.m.

This showcase, as organized by Kishwaukee College Literacy Program tutor Mary Schweitzer and her students from the college and St. DePaul’s Ministry will provide historical information about the local Hispanic community.
