School board, teachers agree on contract

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Elementary Education Association and the District 231 Board of Education negotiation teams have reached a tentative agreement for a new four-year collective bargaining agreement.

The board members will review and look to approve the tentative agreement at its next regular board meeting on Oct. 9 after the REEA membership has ratified the contract agreement.
