Hubs soccer team trying to keep winning ways going

ROCHELLE — A week ago, Rochelle Township High School head soccer coach Keith Lamb told his boys that their goal is to try to win the rest of the games in their regular season.

On Tuesday the Hubs took the first step by beating Sycamore 4-0 in the Douglas Creason Athletic Complex.

Johnny Villalobos put the only point on the scoreboard for either team in the first half sneaking it past Sycamore’s keeper unassisted. Rochelle went into halftime with a 1-0 lead, but Lamb said that he still wasn’t too pleased with how the boys played.
