LEE COUNTY — The Lee County Sheriff’s Department and the Lee County Farm Bureau want to remind motorists that farm equipment will be on the roads this harvest season.
Both passenger vehicles and farm equipment have a right to be on the roads, and we want to remind both farmers and motorists to stay safe this fall.
“It takes the efforts of both the farmer and the motorist to stay safe on the roadways. Accidents can happen when either party neglects to follow the rules of the road,” stated Danelle Burrs, Lee County Farm Bureau manager.
