ROCHELLE — Members of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation had fun Wednesday morning as they gave away money.
The RACF is a nonprofit, charitable organization designed to take endowments and donations that are shared with Rochelle-area non-profit organizations for the benefit of the entire community and has been doing so for several years.
On Wednesday morning, the foundation awarded 19 grants to area non-profit organizations at its annual donor appreciation breakfast held at Rochelle Township High School. The grants will be used to benefit the non-profits in the following areas: arts, education, health and community services, and community development.
