ROCHELLE — United Way of Ogle County held a breakfast to thank local organizations for their support recently. According to Ogle County United Way director, Jennifer Beckman, approximately 27,000 people in Ogle County received help from different United Way programs this past year, which amounts to almost half of the county’s 56,000 population. United Way, having touched the lives of many in Ogle County alone, continues to focus on helping the community by continuing its support with local, non-profit organizations, as well as with the introduction of its new “211” phone help line.
