ROCHELLE — Three suspects were arrested on Wednesday morning at Walmart, 311 E. IL Route 38, after alledgedly attempting to rob the store of merchandise — for a second time.
Wednesday morning, officers responded to Rochelle Walmart in reference to a theft in progress. Upon arrival, officers took the three suspects into custody as they attempted to leave the store with several thousand dollars of merchandise, without paying it. The trio are also suspected of a Sept. 12 incident at the local Walmart.
On Wednesday, Sept. 12, the Rochelle Police Department responded to Walmart in reference to a retail theft.
