Dobbs finishes in top 10 at Rock River Run

ROCHELLE — On Saturday, the Rochelle Township High School cross-country teams participated in the Rock River Run in Sterling and got a nice performance out of Michelle Dobbs, who placed n the top 10.

The varsity girls took eighth overall scoring 251 points and defeating fellow NIB-12 members LaSalle-Peru, Sterling and Ottawa.

Dobbs finished the meet with a time of 18:53 and finished sixth overall. She was just two seconds shy of fifth place and just over a minute shy of winning the contest.
