ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Township High School girls tennis team took fourth at home over the weekend as its hosted the Lady Hub Invite.
Kaneland led the day with 25 points and Rochelle scored 12.
Although more familiar with doubles play, the ever-versitle Brittany Sanderson placed second in the tournament at number two singles.
“We’ve used her mostly in doubles this year,” said head tennis coach Mike Pence, “but she looked great today covering the court all by herself. She is so fast and can get to nearly everything. I am really happy that she played so well today.”
