OREGON — A second man involved in a home invasion in Hillcrest was indicted by an Ogle County Grand Jury on Thursday.
Eddie Blaylock, 23, of Rockford, was indicted on three charges of home invasion and aggravated battery and armed robbery.
The home invasion took place on Jan. 24 when police say Blaylock, Rayvon Motton, 21, of Rockford, and a third suspect, Casimir “Loonie” Williams, 18, of Rockford, entered a home in the 200 block of Jeffrey Avenue in Hillcrest.
During the altercation the victim was shot in the abdomen. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.
Motton was indicted last week and Williams is still at large and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Motton and Blaylock remain in jail on $500,000 bond.
