OREGON — Two men remain in jail on $500,000 bond and now are facing more charges in connection to a home invasion that resulted in a Hillcrest man being shot.
Rayvon Motton, 21, and Eddie Blaylock, 23, both of Rockford, were originally charged with Class X felony home invasion, but now are also being charged with felony aggravated battery and felony armed robbery, according to Ogle County State’s Attorney Eric Morrow.
On Jan. 24 in the 200 block of Jeffrey Avenue in Hillcrest, authorities say Motton, Blaylock and a third man entered into a home and during an altercation the homeowner was shot in the abdomen.
Ogle County Sheriff’s Police continue to look for Casimir, aka “Loonie,” Williams, 18, of Rockford for the Class “X” felony offense of home invasion. The teen remains at large.
Motton is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 8. Blaylock is slated to appear on Feb. 14. They remain in jail in lieu of bond.
