MALTA — The GED Testing Center at Kishwaukee College announces Illinois High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) testing opportunities for Spring 2014. The new version of the GED Test is now being administered at the College and the new procedures for test registration and testing have been implemented as well.
The GED consists of four testing areas: Reasoning through Language Arts (reading and writing skills), Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. To complete the GED, examinees must achieve a minimum score of 150 on each test area and a minimum total score of 600 on all four tests. The State of Illinois also requires a passing score on the Constitution test to receive the Illinois High School Equivalency Certificate.
