ROCHELLE — Rochelle Foods, the local manufacturing facility owned by Hormel Foods Corporation, announced Wednesday that it will donate $10,000 to the Rochelle Foods Hunger Challenge Fund to fight hunger in the Rochelle community.

This donation is part of the Hormel Foods Plant Community Donations Program, which gives employees the opportunity to assist local hunger relief organizations and strengthen the communities where they live and work.

“We are thrilled to support the Rochelle Foods Hunger Challenge Fund and contribute to their efforts to feed the families in need in our area,” said William H. Rice, plant manager, Rochelle Foods. “Our employees and the company are excited to continue fighting hunger in our community.”
