MALTA — Kishwaukee College will be holding an open house for the community on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 4 – 6 p.m. to officially open the new Science Wing on campus. Open House visitors should enter through Doors 12 or 58.
The Science Wing is part of the continuing construction on the Kishwaukee College campus. After the Student Center building addition was opened last fall, Student Services offices, which had been located in the A/B 100 wing, were relocated to the new building. The A/B 100 wing was then closed for extensive renovations. The wing reopened for classes this fall. The converted 54,132 square footage of space includes 11 general classrooms, 10 science labs, 18 faculty offices, Human Resources, Adult Education and Transition Programs, and the Art Gallery.
